QCVN 101:2020/BTTTT is mandatory for Lithium battery products used in phones, tablets, and laptops. The regulation covers lithium batteries for handheld devices, whether removable or installed. Specific details for products and goods with corresponding HS codes are outlined below:

Note: This standard doesn't apply to rechargeable backup batteries if they are removable lithium batteries.

Lithium batteries for mobile phones, laptops, tablets	8507.60.90	Removable Lithium batteries for mobile phones. Does not apply to removable Lithium batteries that are rechargeable batteries used to charge these devices
	8507.60.10	Removable Lithium battery for laptops and tablets. Does not apply to removable Lithium batteries that are rechargeable batteries used to charge these devices.
	(*)	Lithium batteries included/installed in mobile phones, laptops, and tablets are understood to be an inseparable part of the device.
